Connect Dinner

Small Groups

Rock U.

Life was never meant to be lived alone.

No church can be all God wants it to be without the committed involvement of its people to connect, belong, and participate in the life of the church.

When people connect to God’s community, amazing things can happen!
    - sustained life change occurs best in community with others.
    - your unique role and purpose is best fulfilled in community with others.
    - you are personally known, loved, cared for, prayed for, and missed when you
         don’t show up.

Getting connected or finding your place can be a scary and intimidating process.  That’s why we’ve made the connection process as simple as possible through what we call “bridge” events or experiences. These are designed to help you connect to a smaller community like a small group, Bible study group, or ministry team.

GUEST SERVICES
Guest services areas are open before and after our worship services.  Here you can meet with staff members or trained volunteers, get information, and have your questions answered.

CONNECT DINNER
At Connect Dinner you will enjoy a meal, learn more about Rock Bridge’s history and vision, discover ways to get involved, and have an opportunity to become a church member.

SMALL GROUPS
Small groups consist of 5 or more people or couples that meet 2-3 times a month in homes around the community.  Home groups have three main parts:
  - Fellowship time (or hang-out time) with a meal or snacks
  - Bible study and discussion that focuses on either the message from Sunday or
another Bible study to discuss life issues
  - Prayer time where you can pray for others and be prayed for

LIFE FOCUS GROUPS & ROCK U.
Life Focus Groups are groups that meet for a specific period of time (usually 8-12 weeks) to focus on a life issue such as marriage, divorce, money and personal finances, or a special Bible study (Experiencing God, Beth Moore studies, etc.).
